Raising Alpacas in the Northern Lower Peninsula of Michigan

Welcome to Setting Sun Alpacas. Our farm consists of 28 alpacas, most of which are Huacaya along with some Suri. The Huacaya (wa-ki-ya) fiber is long and crimpy, and stands straight out from their skin, similiar to a sheep, but finer. The Suri fiber is long and stringy, giving the appearance of dreadlocks.

To see pictures of all of our alpacas, check out the Meet the Alpacas gallery.

If you'd like to visit the farm, or just see who we are and what we do, click on the About Us link at the top of the page.

We also have a gift shop and alpacas for sale.
